Another Chinese smartphone company, Elephone entered India with Elephone G7. The device was launched back in December 2014 and it is now available on Snapdeal for Rs.8888. The device houses metal frame and sleek design as it is just 5.5mm thin.
Elephone G7 sports 5.5 inch 720p OGS (One Glass Solution) display which comes to pixel density of 267ppi. It is a dual sim device with 3g support which might be downside for some looking for 4G device. Dimensions of the device are 152 X 76 X 5.5 mm and it weighs 156g. The handset is powered by 1.4GHz Octa-core MT6592M chipset with Mali-450MP GPU. It also comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage out of which approx. 4GB will be available for users for apps. It also has Micro SD card slot and memory can be expanded up to 64GB.
Elephone G7 runs on Android 4.4.2 with custom UI on top. As its supports OTA, we can expect future Android updates but there is no confirmation yet. It bears 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP front camera for selfies. The handset is available in Black, White and Gold color options.
