Xolo has launched another variant of its smartphone 8X-1000, which was launched back in August 2014, dubbed as Xolo 8X 1000i. The device having 5 inch HD display priced at Rs.6999 on Snapdeal.

It has 5 inch HD display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by 1.4 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592M with Mali-450MP4 GPU. It has 16 GB internal storage as well as a microSD card slot to expand memory up to 32 GB. The Xolo 8X 1000i runs on company’s own HIVE UI which is still based on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. HIVE UI offers customization options like downloadable themes, wallpapers, ringtones via EDGE store. It also comes with Connect, using which Xolo customers can connect with the software development team so that the company gets bug reports from users in real time.
The smartphone has an 8-megapixel rear camera with Exmor R sensor, LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Other camera features include HDR, Geotagging, Panorama and Full HD video recording. Connectivity features include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The handset packs 1920 mAh Li-ion battery which can offer 7.6 hours of talk time on 3G.
The smartphone is available on Snapdeal for Rs.6999, at this price, it gives tough competition to Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime and Meizu M2, note that these both phones support 4G which is lacking on 8X 1000i.
