Motorola has launched the Moto X Force in India priced at Rs.49999. It is claimed to be the first smartphone in the world to come with Shatter-proof display. Motorola says because of “ShatterShield” Technology, the Moto X Force won’t shatter even if you drop it. Moto ShatterShield is an exclusive system consisting of five layers designed to absorb shock and guaranteed not to crack or shatter. Motorola is also offering a four-year warranty on screen damage. To recall, it was launched in November last year in the US (where it’s known as Droid Turbo 2) & the UK.
The Moto X Force features 5.4-inch Shatterproof AMOLED display and it is powered by Snapdragon 810 Octa-core SoC with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB RAM. The smartphone comes with 2 storage options 32GB and 64GB with microSD card slot to expand storage up to 2TB. The device runs on stock Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and it will soon get Android 6 Marshmallow update. It also comes with water-resistant nano-coating like other recent Motorola devices.
For photography, it features a 21-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and dual LED flash. It can record Full HD and 4k videos at 30fps. There is a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and front LED flash for low light selfie shots.

Unlike previous Moto X devices, the Moto X Force comes with Single Sim card slot with 4G LTE support. Other connectivity features include Dual band WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Infrared port, microUSB 2.0 and NFC. It packs 3760 mAh non-removable Li-ion battery with Turbo Power Charging and Wireless Charging (Qi / PMA) support. Motorola is providing 25w Fast Charger with the device with which you can charge the device for 15 minutes and get up to 8 hours of battery life. It will be available in 3 colors on Amazon, Flipkart and offline stores like Croma & Spice from 8th February. The smartphone is priced at Rs.49999 for 32GB and Rs.53999 for 64GB variant.
