Asus will launch Zenfone 2 in India. Reports confirm that launch event will be held on April 23, 2015. Asus Zenfone series was very popular in India, and Zenfone 2 series also has very competitive specifications.
Now it’s time to confuse buyers as Zenfone 2 has total 5 variants with different specifications. Lowest priced variant will cost US $160 which is 5 inch device. All other variants have 5.5 inch screen. Asus has differentiated them in 3 categories, ZE551ML – ZE550ML – ZE500CL.
Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML has 3 different variants with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB options. It has Quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz for 64GB variant and 4GB RAM. Other variants are 32GB with Quad-core 1.8GHz processor with 4GB RAM and 16Gb with Quad-core 1.8GHz processor with 2GB RAM. All 3 variants have similar specs like 5.5” Full HD screen, NFC, 3000 mAh battery, 13MP rear camera & 5MP front camera, Gorilla Glass 3 protection and Dual Micro Sim with 4G Support.
Asus Zenfone 2 ZE550ML is 5.5” 720p screen device powered by 1.8GHz processor with PowerVR G6430 GPU. It has 16GB internal memory with SD card support up to 64GB. This variant has 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. Other features include 3000 mAh Battery, 13MP rear camera & 5MP front camera, Gorilla Glass 3 protection and Dual Micro Sim with 4G Support.
Asus Zenfone 2 ZE500CL is 5” 720p screen device powered by Intel Atom Z2560 processor clocked at 1.6GHz and 2GB LPDDR2 RAM. It has 16GB Internal memory with SD card support up to 64GB. Other features include 2500 mAh Battery, 8MP rear camera & 2MP front camera, Gorilla Glass 3 protection and Single Micro Sim with 4G Support.
