Apple announced new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus last month, from today both the phones are launched in India starting from Rs.62000. New iPhones have improved specs with new features added like 3D Touch and Live Photo. Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be available in 4 colors: Gold, Silver, Space Grey and Rose Gold.

Design of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus is pretty much the same as on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s Plus, the only way to differentiate both by a little “s” badge on the back. Apple has used 7000 series aluminium alloy to strengthen the body and because of that both iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are slightly heavy compare to previous generation iPhone.
In addition to familiar Multi-Touch gestures like Tap, Swipe and Pinch, 3D Touch introduces Peek and Pop. 3D Touch is a system that detects how hard your press on the screen. Depending on pressure you apply, it will preview a piece of content by pressing lightly (Peek) and if you press hard (Pop) it will expand the content, letting you interact with it.
The camera is improved on Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus as they sport new 12MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Other camera features include 4k video recording, Live Photos and Time-lapse. Rear camera is also capable of recording slow-mo videos up to 1080p at 120 fps and 720p at 240 fps. Video recording on front camera is restricted to 720p only.
iPhone 6s comes with battery capacity of 1715 mAh and iPhone 6s Plus sports 2750 mAh battery. Apple claims 14 hours of talk time on 6s and 24 hours of talk time on 6s Plus.
