Sony Mobile today revealed 2 new smartphones, Sony Xperia M5 and Sony Xperia C5 Ultra. Lets have a look at Xperia M5. It sports 5 inch Full HD display (1920 X 1080) and 21.5MP rear camera with features like Hybrid AutoFocus, 5X clear image zoom, Auto Scene Recognition and 4K Video recording. Front camera is also impressive 13MP with AutoFocus.
Sony Xperia M5 is powered by 2.0GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor with 3GB RAM. 16GB internal storage is provided with SD card support up to 200GB. The device has Sony Omnibalance design language and comes with IP65 & IP68 certification. The device runs on Android 5 Lollipop. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC & DLNA.
The device comes in Single Sim as well as Dual Sim variants depending on markets. It will come in White, Black and Gold color options and will be available from mid August, 2015 in selected countries. Check detail specifications below.
