Meizu MX5 unveiled in China which has 5.5 inch Full HD Amoled display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Smartphone features mTouch 2.0 fingerprint sensor which is placed under single Home button provided below display. MX5 weighs 149g and other dimensions are 149.9 X 74.7 X 7.6 mm. The device is build with metal body and it is powered by Mediatek’s Octa-core MT6795T (Helio X10) SoC.
Meizu MX5 comes in 3 storage options 16GB, 32GB and 64GB which are priced at CNY 1799(US$ 290), CNY 1999(US$ 322) and CNY 2399(US$ 387) respectively. The handset comes in deep grey, silver and champagne gold colors. It runs on Android Lollipop with Flyme UI 4.5 on top.
MX5 is dual sim (nano sim) device with 4G LTE support. The handset also features mCharge (quick charge) technology so it can be charged from 0% to 25% in 10 minutes and up to 60% in 40 minutes. The device is also listed on Meizu’s Indian website which points towards Indian release soon.
